October – Round 11 – 12th-15th

International Break meant no Premier League, no Championship and a couple of other games were off too. Sunderland vs Blackpool in League 1 and Cheltenham vs Yeovil in League 2 were also off. In All we had 30 games this weekend and a decent goal return too.

Week Team Standings

Lincoln lead the way this week with 14 points. 1 team(s) managed to score 5 or more and earn some bonus points, with no teams teams just missing out having scored 4. The top 10 this week scored 64 and if you were clever/lucky enough to have Lincoln as your trump then you could have scored 57.

Lincoln City 14
Barnsley 6
Accrington 6
Colchester 6
Doncaster 6
Boreham Wood 6

Standings for Round: 11

A 3 way tie at the top this weekend with Barrie, Gareth (me) and James Marchant scoring 53 points. Chris Thomas and Last months top player Gary Hardy make up the top 5.

1 Barrie John 53
2 Gareth Thomas 53
3 James Marchant 53
4 Chris Thomas 48
5 Gary Hardy 42
Bottom 5
22 Ryan Roscoe 6
23 Sean Reeve 6
24 Ashley Jones 5
25 Dela Van Lare 4
26 Andy Peasnall 2
27 Marko Kozarevic 0

Despite some advise to sub out any premier league and championship teams (as it was international break) some people decided to stick to their guns. As a result we have some pretty low scores at the bottom, with Marko scoring a big fat 0.

Standings for October

So how did the weekend affect the table? 13 points separate the top 5. Gareth (me) currently top followed by Sean Davis and Mark Treadwell.

1 Gareth Thomas 103
2 Sean Davis 96
3 Mark Treadwell 92
4 James Marchant 91
5 Barrie John 90
Bottom 5
23 Ryan Roscoe 40
24 haydn perry 39
25 Sean Reeve 34
26 Andy Peasnall 32
27 Marko Kozarevic 18

No Surprise at the bottom with Marko ‘Premier League’ Kozarevic at the bottom, 14 points behind Andy Peasnall.

Round 12

So this weekend there are NO national league teams – so sub them out as they will definitely not score you points. Otherwise we have full rounds of action in the Premier League, Championship, League 1 and League 2 – 46 games in total. The weekend starts with Sheffield Weds vs Middlesborough at 7.45pm on Friday and ends with Arsenal vs Leicester on Monday Night Football.
