December Week 5 – 28-31st
A full round of festive fixtures but a very poor goal return with the lowest average goals per game ratio of the season so far. Some cracking games to end 2018 with though.
Week Team Standings
Liverpool and Portsmouth lead the way this week with 13 points. 2 team(s) managed to score 5 or more and earn some bonus points, with 6 teams just missing out having scored 4. The top 10 this week scored 80 and if you were clever/lucky enough to have Liverpool as your trump then you could have scored 93.
Standings for Round: 22
Anthony Doyle had a great end to the month with 59, just 3 ahead of David Atcheson in 2nd and 4 ahead of Lewis Care in 3rd. Tara Thomas finished a poor month with a bottom of the table finish of just 28 points.
There were 266 LOLF qualifying games played this in December. These gave us 685 goals averaging 2.5752 GPG.
We had 4 teams score 5 or more to earn bonus points from their match, and finally 2 teams failed to register a single League of Leagues point
Team Scores for December
Liverpool top the table for December scoring 35 points and getting some big wins allong the way. United in joint 2nd (with Portsmouth) after a big turn around following the sacking of Mourinho.
Standings for December
Congratulations to Sean Davis who is Decembers winner with 234 points, 10 more than David Atcheson in 2nd and 11 more than Jamie Harris in 3rd.
I have spent the majority of the month on the bottom of the table after a disastrous month, but an ok final weekend helped me climb above Tara. But Im still nearly 100 points from the top.
Next Month’s Entry
January entry is open with the first Lolf qualifying game happening on 4th January. Look out for a preview of the month tomorrow. Happy new year and good luck for next month.
