August Week 3 – 17th-20th
A full round of fixtures and 161 goals means some decent football, and some decent points for some. Did you finish in the top or bottom 5 for the round? Where are you in the months standings? All will be revealed below.
Week Team Standings
What a weekend for West Brom who seem to be enjoying life in the championship with a 7-1 demolition of QPR, Man City had a pretty decent 6-1 win over Huddersfield too, and both teams earned 5 bonus points for scoring 5 or more. The top 10 this week scored 80 points and if you had West Brom as trump you could have scored 95 – a week high for the season so far.
Standings for Round: 3
An amazing start to newbie Jamie Harris this weekend topping the charts with 75 points, congratulations what a first weekend . Haydn Perry a very good score of 67 in 2nd and James Marchant testing the air out in the top 3 this weekend.
Andy Peasnall had a bit of a hard weekend and tops the table up with 27, just below Craig Hodge and Lee Hudson. Maybe next they can cop y James and head for the top.
Standings for August
Anthony Doyle continues to set the pace after 3 rounds, but his lead is down to 4 from Ian Porter and Chris Lovett a further 3 points back in third. Still 1 and a bit rounds of football to go so it can all still change.
August 24-27 sees a full round of fixtures planned with National League teams playing twice as its a bank holiday (were you savvy enough to check the fixtures before picking your teams?)– so that’s 116 teams playing 70 games. Weekend starts with Middlesborough vs this weeks top team West Brom on Friday 7.45 and finishes with Man United vs Tottenham on Monday 8pm.
